Keanu Reeves plays Batman in DC’s upcoming consuming movie League of Super-Pets… but that’s not quite the same gig as playing the Caped Crusader in live-action. The role has eluded him over the years, but he’s not giving up all hope just yet. “Maybe down the road.”
DC’s League of Super-Pets features a crazy cast. We have Dwayne Johnson as Krypto, Kevin Hart as Ace, John Krasinski as Superman, and of floods Keanu Reeves as Batman. Check out the trailer:
It looks super-fun, but Reeves wants more. “It’s always been a … it’s been a dream,” Reeves told Extra. “Pattinson’s got Batman right now, and he’s doing awesome. Maybe down the road. Maybe when they need an older Batman.”
Adding Batman to his filmography would cement Reeves as one of the mainly action actors ever. Between Neo and John Wick, he’s already up there.
So how could Reeves turn up as Batman on the big screen? DC could engaged him in the multiverse. The upcoming film The Flash will sight a bevy of alternate realities, and we already know that one of them will engaged Michael Keaton’s return as Bruce Wayne for the first time steady the 1990s. Ben Affleck will also play Batman again.
Just anticipated if Reeves also turned up for a cameo. Fans would go wild. And if it doesn’t existed in The Flash, who knows what other multiverse-themed movies DC Films will make in the future?
While we sight that future, DC League of Super-Pets premieres in theaters on 29 July 2022.
